Associate Sourcing and Procurement

The Associate Sourcing Procurement will be supporting Sourcing Materials for Compounding Pharmacy and other verticals at LGM.  This is a support role, working closely with the Sourcing and Procurement Team, and with the relevant Sales Representatives for Compounding and Materials Movement Team to ensure a smooth order workflow. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Support the API Sourcing related activities for Pharmacy Compounding and other business verticals of LGM, including regular updates to key internal parties (sales, MM, etc.)

•  Support in maintaining the Sales Force Module for the Sourcing team.

•  Conduct data analysis & database creation as needed to support ongoing operations, including accessing and extracting data from Sales Force and SAP or as requested be leadership.

•  Perform market research identify trends that will leverage the company's position with manufacturers.

•  Support pricing negotiation towards new and existing API Sourcing projects.

•  Maintain a good working relationship with manufacturers & vendors that supplying material to the company.

•  Attend meetings (calls/VC/in person) with manufacturers to build a good working relationship.

•  Work with LGM Sales Team to ensure quotes are provided to clients in a timely manner.

•  Support logistics department on procurement & shipments of goods

•  Provide cross functional support i.e. Quality, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Business Development & Compounding Sales Teams. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or equivalent education and experience

0 - 2 years logistics experience or purchasing experience for compounding, in API pharmaceutical environment (desire)  

ERP systems experience (SAP) desire, and Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and meticulous level of accuracy

Excellent organizational and coordination abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
